Mid-project, I stepped into the Lead Environment Texture Artist role, collaborating closely with the Art Director, Environment Art Teams, Design Team, and Principal Environment Technical Artist to ensure the AAA VR artistic vision was realized. My key responsibilities included:
Balancing team workload and priorities to meet project deadlines
Managing quality and quantity with the team amidst budget constraints
Continuously elevating the artistry and visual impact of the highly detailed worlds
Helping to fill in gaps and finish art work wherever possible
